Glitchoo respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Data we collect

  • Account: email, name, profile image (only if you sign in via Google or create an account).
  • Watchlist & alerts: ASINs you save, price thresholds, personal notes.
  • Technical: IP address, user-agent, request logs — for security and debugging.
  • Cookies: session (authentication), language preference. No third-party tracking cookies without your explicit consent via the banner.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Deliver the service (contractual, art. 6(1)(b))
  • Send transactional emails (art. 6(1)(b))
  • Security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f))

Amazon Associates

Glitchoo is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Links to amazon.co.uk/com are affiliate links: if you buy through them we receive a commission at no extra cost to you.

Retention

  • Account: while active. Full deletion within 30 days of request.
  • Technical logs: 90 days.

Your UK GDPR rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction. To exercise them: [email protected]. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

International transfers

Cloudflare (CDN), Resend (email) and Google (OAuth). All under UK-approved transfer mechanisms (IDTA or SCC + UK Addendum).
